Cottonwood Hollow is a 233-acre development plan located in Firestone, CO. The development consists of proposed single-family and multi-family lots. Paragon Engineering Consultants, Inc. was responsible for preparing a site plan, final plat, construction plans, and drainage report. Paragon Engineering Consultants, Inc. also prepared LOMR documents for the development of the Godding Hollow Floodplain.
Cottonwood Hollow Filing 1 improvements include civil engineering for this greenfield development. Design of public streets, water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer improvements for 86 single family lots. Public streets include local streets servicing the residential lots and one arterial road connecting the lots to Sable Ave located along the northern boundary of Filing 1. Storm sewer improvements consist of inlets, pipes and roadside ditches that convey stormwater runoff to two proposed detention ponds.
Cottonwood Hollow Filing 4 improvements consist of public streets, water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer improvements for 179 single family lots. The area of development is 59.0 acres, excluding an existing irrigation ditch which bisects the site. Included within this development are two active gas and oil facilities that are carefully integrated into the residential layout.
The project site is located south of Sable Avenue, east of East I-25 Frontage Road, and west of Birch Street in the northwestern portion of the Town of Firestone, Colorado.
